Monica is also a FAA Gold Seal Helicopter Flight instructor with over 9,000 total flight hours. She holds a Ph.D and is also a former Tower Controller.

Certified Flight Instructor Course
USA Academy of Aviation offers a unique and advantageous opportunity for Certified Flight Instructor students. All CFI flight instruction is included during the Commercial Helicopter Course resulting in approximately $5,000 in savings! Students will move into the left seat during the Commercial Helicopter Course and begin instructing all flight maneuvers in the Robinson R22 helicopter. Students pay only the charges incurred from the 40 hours ground school. Throughout this course students will be assisted in creating and building their own CFI binder, learn the fundamentals of instructing and teaching, and prepare for FAA written examinations and checkride.
